Competition Guidelines
Topic: MY CAREER: A FULFILMENT OF MY DREAM
(Applicants must submit a video recording in line with the topic within a maximum timing of 3 minutes)
Please find below the guidelines detailing student eligibility, registration procedures, and general submission rules:
Eligibility:
• Students must fall within the age bracket of 15-18 years and be currently enrolled in a secondary or high school at the time of submission, which is May 15th, 2024.
• The competition is free to enter for interested candidates.
• Video recordings must be executed and presented without the use of written prompts.
• The contest is open to all students interested in pursuing the Canadian Pathway (OSSD) program.
• Academic prerequisites include results from either IGCSE/WAEC or any equivalent educational system.
• Participation is exclusively reserved for students eligible for admission into the Canadian Pathway (OSSD) program who fulfill the age and grade requirements.
Evaluation Criteria:
The video contest will be assessed on criteria including originality, depth of analysis, clarity of expression, coherence of speech, and overall speaking proficiency.

Please ensure that your video submission adheres to the specified format and includes the following details:

Submission Guidelines:
• Video duration must not exceed 3 minutes.
• The video should be conducted in English.
• The video must be clear and the sound must be audible
• Format: MP4 file.
• The video should be recorded in a single take; cutting and joining segments will not be accepted.

• Save your document as OSSD.FIRSTNAME.LASTNAME (Example: OSSD.DanielPeters)
All submissions must be the original work of the participant. Any instances of plagiarism will lead to automatic disqualification.

No, this scholarship offer can’t be combined with other offers and also, you must be interested in the OSSD program only.
Winners will be selected through rigorous selection by our experts also be notified via email.

The University Foundation Programme at Doveland Sixth Form College is designed to prepare students for success at university. Our programme offers a comprehensive curriculum that covers the key subjects required for admission to top universities, including mathematics, science, humanities, and social sciences.
